    somehow my td10 has frozen,

    i can not do the soft reset cuzz my buttons dont work

    does anyone know the sequence to do the hard reset? i know it involves powering down and holding down 2 buttons when you power up. i just dont know what buttons to push

    press SETUP then F4 X 3.....but that will wipe EVERYthing, ya know

      ok, as i explained earlier, MY BUTTONS DONT WORK, the unit is frozen so pushing " setup" or any button WILL NOT WORK, the unit has to be reset hard.

      what you are talking about is a factory default reset, as described on page 137 of th user manual

        I don't think we know of any buttons that will reset a TD-10 at power up. If the module is expanded, it may be worth removing the bottom panel to check whether the TDW-1 board is securely locked down and not shaken loose.

          Try this:

          ROLAND TD-10
          HOLD SETUP AND EXIT KEYS AND TURN POWER ON, THEN
          PRESS F4.

            Pop the battery out for a couple of minutes. That should do it.
