  • TD12 quick erase of all the patterns

Sorry if this could sound as a newbie question but all the time that I want to erase all the user patterns I have to do it for each one individually.
Is there a quicker way as in the TD8?
    Thank you!

I don't think so, but are you sure you could on a TD-8? I don't see how.

If you had a MIDI to PC (or sequencer) hookup you could bulk dump just the patterns when they were blank, and then replay that file into the module when you wanted them cleared again. I can't think of any other way.

(I'm assuming you really mean delete rather than erase because there's a difference with patterns. Erase leaves length, beat, tempo (and name I think) intact; whereas Delete makes everything a new blank pattern.)

Yes I'm sorry. I meant delete all the user patterns.
In the TD8 i went in the Setup menu, Factory reset, and I could choose "All Patterns. It was very very very confortable.

Nice suggesion Bruce, with VDrumLib I can save a syx made of all blank patterns. By restoring it I'll obtain the same result.
      Thanks!
