  • Connecting TD-9 with an Ipad via Midi

    Hi every one,

I have a TD-9 module and I connected it with my Ipad with a MIDI-USB cable. I am using GarageBand to record the midi output from the drum.
Normal hits are getting recognized without problem but the hits on the edges are not getting recognized.
I even bought the UM-ONE MK2 midi interface from Roland and a USB-hub with external power but no improvements.
Is somebody having the same problem?

Do GarageBand drum kits have two zones per drum? I don’t know the answer, but it could be that GB kits are single zone.
Roland TM-6 Pro and TD-11 modules with Roland RT30 triggers and Yamaha PCY cymbals. Plus all the acoustic stuff.

Is GarageBand configured to accept the Edge Notes?
Check the MIDI Note Mapping in GarageBand.
You can check the Standard Note Numbers assigned on the TD-9 - Manual P.32 refers.
