  • Roland KDA-22 center

I’m planning on getting a KDA-22 and converting my 22. I have a couple questions for anyone who has the KDA-22 or the KD-220.
What is the height of the center of the mesh head? I know it’s not really mesh.
in the pictures I see online it looks like a couple inches above center.

Great, thanks, I forgot to ask the second question. As a user of that drum, do you go beater to head direct, or using a beater patch (sticker)?

I use a tennis ball beater with no patch, nice feeling, rebound and quiet as well.

ALWAYS use a patch. On ANY drum with ANY head with ANY beater.. The end,

            (why would you not?)
