  • TRS Cables triggering AUX input

So I have been trying to expand my td-20 with a few new cymbals.
I have them set up and working - except none of the new cymbals in the AUX slot can choke. I have set up the trigger inputs as the correct cymbal, but still no dice.
Is the issue that I'm not using TRS cables and an just using standard guitar cables? Could that be the problem?
    I'm at my wits end
    Ollie

Yes, you must use TRS cables for dual zone and choke
