  • TD27KV CY13R as Crash/Trying to use Bell output as added trigger

I recently bought the TD27KV. I has the big 18" Digital Ride, which is stellar. The two crashes are the CY12C and the CY13R. The CY13R has an additional trigger output, the bell, which is not used in this particular setup because it is being used as a crash.

I figured I would buy an extra cable for a few bucks and hook it up to the CY13R Bell Output to give myself an additional trigger to use for a cowbell or tambourine or whatever.

So I did. I got a 5' Roland trigger cable.

I hooked it up to AUX3 and set the trigger type to BT-1 (single zone trigger )since I am attempting to use it as a single zone trigger separately from the Cymbal functionality.. But I cannot trigger the Bell without triggering the Bow and vice-versa. There is no separation, even though they are hooked up each with their own trigger.

I tried changing the trigger type to CY13R just to see. Same result.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.
