  • MimicPro — adding a second HiHat with one controller possible?

Hi to all Mimicans out there!
I‘m absolutely new to the Mimic an have a question regarding if it is possible adding a second hihat.
I‘m coming form a TD30 over to the MimicPro. On the TD30 it was very easy. Both pads I assigned a HiHat-Sound to where controlled by the footcontroller (FD-8).
how is it done on the Mimic? Same way?

    Looking forward for your advices!

    cheers Ilja

Just use a splitter at the Hi Hat Cymbal jack of the module and run a cable to each cymbal you want to control via the HH controller: https://www.amazon.com/Hosa-YPP-118-.../dp/B000068O56

      hey Jman,
      Nice Workaround
I did this on the td30 as well for a time, then I found another way. I changed the midinote of the second hihat pad (AUX1 on the module) to the midinote of the original hihat pad.
Maybe I find a similar way on the mimic

      but thanks for your advice!!!!!
      kind regards Ilja
