  • Roland RT-30K dual piezo??

I recently purchased a kick trigger, Roland RT-30K. I read (I forget where now) in a set-up manual somewhere that using the RT-30K trigger setting in the module allows some rejection in unwanted triggering. I noticed (to my surprise) that my RT-30K has the same dual piezo design as my dual sensor RT-30HR. Obviously there is no rim triggering needed for a kick drum. Now I'm really curious as to how a module might use both sensors to improve triggering. I know the BT-1 uses a switch type sensor in addition to the piezo, which I understand. So this would mean you can't really split a dual input on a module to run two RT-30K's into one input. Just like the BT-1 can't, unless you use the BT-1 in "sensitive" mode, which I'm assuming just doesn't read the switch. Any thoughts on any of this?
