  • Roland KT10 problems

I bought a Roland KT-10 as a way to trigger sounds with my foot, not as a bass drum pedal. I plug it into my TD-50, and by default, it makes the sound of a ride cymbal. I can't seem to figure out how to re-map this on the module to get it to trigger a different sound. I have it plugged into the "foot switch" output on the back... could this be the problem?

That indeed is the problem, should have plugged it into any pad or aux input. foot-switch input is not for triggering sounds.
