Roland TD25 Changing Snare Sounds

xcuse me then.. apparently on a roland td25 you have limited 'instrument' selection .. what you could do is use the 'aux' input and put a tom there ?
it says you can change aux input to 'any' instrument..

I have the manual and it does not say anything about changing the snare drum to a tom. I tells how to change it to one of the other preselected snare drums and some other percussion and electronic sounds but not to a different drum type.
