  • Not sure my CY15R ride "Bell" is working - how to test?

Hi, i definitely remember being able to hear a "bell" sound on my ride when I bought the kit. Since then, I've used some 3rd party expansions and VSTs. I'm noticing today that I don't seem to be able to "hear" a bell sound when I play the bell. What would be the easiest way to see if it's working? I think I saw it trigger something on Superior Drummer 3 but right now I'm going thru my TD-20 kits and I can't find one that has the bell present when I play....

On TD-20, do you have everything set up correctly?
    TD-20 Manual Page 44
Ensure the Trigger Bank is set -
    Trig.10 - CY-15R and Trig.11 - RD CTRL

    TD-20 Manual Page 48
Ensure that 3-Way Trigger is set to On

    TD-20 Manual Page 50
Ensure that it is cabled correctly

    Configure Instruments
H10 - xxxxx Rd (Ride Sound)
R10 - xxxxx Rdbl (Bell Sound)
H11 - xxxxx Rdbl (I don't think this is actually used)
R11 - xxxxx RdEg (Ride Edge Sound)

When you hit the Bell, the RIM Light should come on and the display should indicate that you hit Trig.10.

If it does not, then there is a good chance that the Bell switch is not working properly.

When you hit the Edge, the RIM Light should come on and the display should indicate that you hit Trig.11.
