These are pretty standard mappings, so I would recommend you do the MIDI Note assignments on the other end.
    Thx! I will check this

Has the TD12 notes been changed in the past? Is it worth defaulting it. Do you have the manual or can you get it online as these usually show the midi mapping. In SD there are presets. If you select Roland or the specific one for your kit does that not set it right?

You have a few options which will all work and you have already found one that will work by changing the note your TD12 sends fir the BD

    Roland TD-12 midi question

    Hi !

i have question about the midi .

I want config a vst with the good midi note .

    1. Press the INST button.

    2. Press F3 (CONTROL).

    3. Press F3 (MIDI).

    4. Use the CURSOR up/down buttons to select NOTE No.

    5. Hit the pad (or portion of the pad head/rim) that you’d like to set the MIDI note number for.

    6. Turn the value dial to select the desired note number.

    7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for any remaining pads as desired.

    8. Press kit when you’re finished. The new settings are saved automatically within the kit.

the note on my module (example) for kick is D-2 but on EZDrummer , GETGOOD drums , Superior Drummer or other i get the note D-1 in the vst . Its normal was not the same ?
