  • Producing Multi Track Recordings on TD17

    Hi All,

I'm a drummer for 20 odd years now but I this is my first time owning a set of VDrums (TD17s). I jam with a singer song writer who uses Pro Tools for mixing his music.

I was wondering of I could go about sending him multi track recordings from my TD17. I can save recordings onto the SD card but they're just flat file recordings. Do I need additional equipment/ software to do this?

    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

To record multitrack audio from your TD-17 module, you must use some DAW software.
The process is described in this document:
    https://www.rolandcorp.com.au/blog/v...d-17-and-td-25
It is relatively time consuming, basically you record your performance using MIDI first,
and the you play recorded MIDI back on TD-17 one drum(pad/cymbal) at a time, and record each drum
into DAW using audio over USB.
