  • New Roland VH-10 hi-hat

The new Roland VH-10 hi-hat is not available on the European market yet, but will soon be (beginning of June). As I am playing a TD-12 module I was wondering if the new VH-10 is working on a TD-12 module. Strangely, neither the Roland site says anything about connectivity and Thomann in Germany knows nothing yet. Does anyone have this knowledge? Much obliged.

Iím honestly super interested in this new hi-hat. Itís not crazy expensive, not too small and they made it lighter for better movement.

"Dear Customer, I inform you that the Vh-10 is structurally very similar (if not substantially the same ...) to the Vh-11. It was presented on the market in conjunction with the Td-17 (presented a few days ago) and therefore with sincerity it has not yet been tested with other modules. In any case, like all V-pads currently in production, I believe it is absolutely compatible with other V-Drums modules." This is more or less the Roland Italian answer I've got the day after you asked the question, but...

Thanks angr77 but this page is still empty. How strange...

ThanksReptide: but the answer that you quote from is still not enough information for me to base a buy on

True, but if you download the Manual/Setup guide for the TD-17KVX kit the new HH, snare and kick have the info. for each. J

Agree - it does not seems like that they are giving the whole story from a VH-10 perspektive. I was checking the manual + Setup...

The TD-17 kits have just been released. The individual components release after. They will release more info I'm sure when that starts to happen. Roland is actually pretty fast at releasing the individual components. Many companies do not release individual kit components for many months or years after the kit release .... Alesis Strike is a good example. The individual components should start shipping next month. That has already been mentioned about the module for sure.
