Is there anyway for a single trigger hit/stroke to produce two different midi notes?

In general, no.
Not unless you assign a single hit pattern to the same head or rim, in which case the midi note of the recorded trigger (e.g. kick rim) would also be sent, I think:
TDW-20: Pattern 150 LayerKickRim
(It can be done from any module with a sequencer, but the TDW-20/TD-20X/TD-30 makes it easier with one preset pattern per kit for layering purposes.)Last edited by BarT; 03-16-15, 08:23 PM.
