    Hi,

    does anyone know if it's possible to record a choke with midi?
    I'm guessing it only sends a note-off like a keyboard ('release-mode'), but I believe those are ignored when playing drums.
    I use a Yamaha pcy80s and a dtxtreme module.
    It would be nice if the choke would send a configurable note number...

    Hi,

    I missed this one for quite a while myself. Make sure that you do not filter out "key aftertouch" in your sequencer. In Cakewalk it is located in the global...midi dialog, as Record and a bunch of select boxes. Make sure Key Aftertouch is selected to be recorded. Not the same as a note off!
