Roland MDH-25 Pad Mount

Hi fellow drummers,

Does anyone know if it possible to attach a Roland MDH-25 Pad Mount to a Roland MDS-12V Drum Stand?
Or should I use the MDY-12 Cymbal Mount to add an extra pad to my drum kit? Will this hold a Roland PDX-100 pad when playing on it?
I cannot use a MDH-12 Pad Mount because it isn't reaching far enough.

Yes it is possible as I have done the same to my MDS-12V rack for use as extra cymbal. The clamp part that attaches to rack tube is same for pad mount and cymbal (MDH-25/MDY-25). The clamp is better too as it not only looks better in silver, but doesn't slip as much. It has a black plastic piece inside the metal housing and its all very rugged.
