  • Cone/Heads

I've had a vsnare for 2+ years. The head has never been changed. Only periodic retuning. Would a new head make any difference?

Also I noticed, my blue cone is slightly damaged on the top from those occasional strikes. But so far, again I have not noticed changes that I would complain about.
Has anyone had a simular situation, changed the cone or head and really notice a significant difference?

A fresh mesh head perhaps will improve the positional sensing, but in general the mesh material is very strong. You can enlarge the life from mesh head pads by rotating the snare drum pad with the 2 large tom pads.

For the cone: buy a new one. It's the trigger's heart
