Copying instruments: wrong instrument is applied to new kit

Hopefully someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Here's what I'm doing:
loaded a VEX pack.
Copied a VEX kit to a User Kit slot.
Copied an instrument from another VEX kit (from the same loaded pack) to the user kit.

A completely wrong instrument ends up in the user kit.

Copying from factory kits works fine.

Never had that happen. Did you try more than once to ensure it wasn't a simple mistake?

If you can reproduce it, give me the steps to test, but any such thing would be module related.

Sounds like you overlooked one of the parameters during the copy. Make sure you toggle through all the options, and select them appropriately.
