Does roland CY series (crash ride etc) can they be installed on a regular acoustic cymbal stand? I've been always using rack and the hardware that came with e-drum set, but I'm trying to do an A2E and get rid of my rack. Thanks.

Yes, you can use standard cymbal stands. Just remember to use the CY mounting fittings (anti-rotation fitting)
