  • TD-6, cables and visu-lite cymbals....

Does anyone know what kind of cable you need to access the aux. and fourth tom on the TD-6? I've tried the mono and stereo y-cables...but neither worked. I'm using Rythym Traveler converted pads (homemade) and visu-lite cyms. Does anyone know some good hi-hat trigger settings to get more sensitivity...(I've read the manual!)

You need an "insert" cable. It looks like a splitter. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/.../base_id/39047
      I'm a drummer. I don't play the timpani! Hire a percussionist!!!

I've had great success with a Radio Shack Stereo to Mono Y-cable.
