using a RedBox RBM-20. Was thinking of using PinTech's practice cymbals and making a Ride and Crashes. There are circuit descriptions of a Yamaha PCY-150. IT uses 2 switches (bell and edge) and a piezo.Sonor S-classix birch
Paiste Dark energy and 2002; Sabian Artisans, Evolutions.

Sorry, I am not familiar with the RedBox. We don't get those around here.
Does it have 3-zone inputs? And does it work with piezo/switch or piezo/piezo configurations?DTX700, eDRUMin 4+10, A2E Dixon kit, Yamaha cymbals, FSR HH

The RedBox RBM-20 is basically an Alesis DM-10, rebranded by Pearl!
Please compare:
Also, while searching for the piezo/switch inputs on a Redbox/DM-10, I literally stumbled across a video done by one of our own, Hellfire.
As I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm not at all versed in all things DIY (highly admiring the folks that are), this video may or may not be what you look for...
