  • Cone foam material

I've been looking into making my own foam cones and really haven't found the "right" material. Today I think I did. I was in a vacuum store and noticed these blocks of foam called "Four Paws Magic Pet Hair Remover" (http://www.chewy.com/dog/four-paws-m...FYZi7Aod3DYACQ).
They feel like they would be perfect and its cheap. I was wondering if anyone else on here has had any experience with this material?
Also, this could probably be used as the cushion for a diy kick.

    What do you guys think?

Donk kniw about the pet thing, the foam looks very hole-y, like it is too coarse. Have seen a lot of people using foam sanding blocks from a diy shop - like these: http://m.wilko.com/wilko/product/det...itemId=0010056 / http://www.sandmaster.com/products_fsb.htm and just peeling off the sandpaper side.

oh yeah I've seen the sanding block cones before. Never actually tried them because I always thought they were more like the foam that people suggested to get from mcmaster carr. I went that route and didn't end up with something I liked. I should actually try making them out of that though...
Anyway, the foam I suggested reminded me more of something like 682drum cones. They are very holey but to me seem just right.
