  • problem with ride bell on td11

Hi all, I build an electronic drum with an old td3 module without any problem. Now I tried to replace the td3 with a td11 module and all seems to be ok except the bell ride. I found some wiring schemes but none of them seem to work. I tried to put a piezo between the sleeve and tip and sleeve and ring without success. I tried also to connect a two zone e-cymbal to the bell connector but neither the piezo nor the switch (edge) seem to work.
The questions are: which is the correct use of a ride bell connector ? Piezo or switch ? I should use tip or ring ? There are some options on the module that I don't understand ?

    Thanks

The Bell input cable of the TD-11 is an input cable that is only usable with a Roland style 3zone ride. It is used in combination with the Ride input, it is not usable for separate pads as it is linked with the Ride input as a Bell switch only for a 3 zone cymbal.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! ;)

Ok, thanks for the reply. Have you a wiring diagram or some reference to the connection scheme of the roland ride ?
