  • Best piezos for trigger IO and DIY pads

    Hello,

i would like to build bigger pads for my usb drum kit with trigger IO. I found a guy on ebay that sells pretty good built foam cones with 35mm triggers, but i readed somewhere (maybe here on this forum) that 35mm piezos are too much sensitive for alesis trigger IO. Is that true? Would a 27mm piezo (he can build cones even with 27mm) work better with trigger IO than 35 mm?

    thanks in advance

I would go with the 27mm. The 35mm would be over kill for the trigger I/O.
