    hey guys - thank you for the Kudos. It only took me 5 months to think of it. Like yours, they were just stashed away. I was even pricing mini connectors then, as I was looking at one of them, I thought..if only i could get the pins for those things......BING!

    For those that do not have the crimp tool... you can also buy these connectors in a solder connection version. or just go ahead and solder to the crimp style - they don't need to fit into thier intended sockets anyway

    Quick Disconnects for Piezos

    I found an old stash of cumputer connector pins (the type used in DB9, DB25 type connectors) They seem to work very well as a coupler for the piezos.

    this is one way to solve two issues.

    1- easy replacement in the field in case of failure
    2- easy prewire for the thick panel type TRS jacks that require soldering the piezos after the TRS jack is mounted. In particular NEUTRIK p/n: NYS 221, or NYS 220. These Pins will slip thru the mounting hole
