Rim Sound on TD-6V

I made a mesh head pad with rim sensor. It works well with the snare input.
But I cannot get rim sound on TOM input. Does TD-6V support rim shot on tom inputs? Manual seems say yes, but I cannot get it?
I already set the Tom input pad tape same as the snare input?
Please help, I am new to TD-6V, just got it four days. Thanks.

It cannot do rim triggering on toms out of the box, but there is a workaround....it's in a sticky:
