  • Hart foam + Roland pd100/120

Not sure if this has been discussed... (SDG...I know UTFSE... this is differnt though)

I'm toying with putting Hart "towers" into my Roland pd100's and 120s. The foam is original and still working fine..but.. what the hell I need a winter project.

Other than a larger hotspot...any reason that wouldn't work?

I'm sure it could be done... but might require a bit of foam trimming, and parameter tweaking... I'd stick to the cone.... same size, dimensions. The platform is not adjustable on Roland pads, so the foam height and density is fairly important. If you need to replace the foam, I would go with something that is plug-n-play... Roland brand replacements are a good choice ... a little spendy these days, and must be ordered direct...
I saw Bogie had some extra Poron cones in the Classifieds...
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! ;)

      Gracias Papi JMan!!!

Roland must be placing a small nugget of platinum in each cone... otherwise how could they justify the repalcement price?

      Thanks again JMan.
