DIY Roland FD-6 hi-hat conversion

Here is my Diy hi hat conversion based on Jman's method but a little different. I'm using a PDP HH820 hi hat stand and two Roland Cy-6 cymbals and a Roland FD-6. I'm also ditching the Roland foot pedal for the PDP because I think it looks better in my opinion. I thought I'd post my project to help others out that are thinking of doing this mod. A few notes about the project;

1. I had to drill out some of the rubber for the cymbals to fit on the stand.
2. Drill new holes for PDP pedal
3. Chain was too long so it had to be shortened
4. Added foam between cymbals to reduce noise(it worked great!)

and more pics.... I still need to get some screws for the pedal but for the most part it functions beatifully. The only other thing I might consider doing is adding some wieght to one side of the cymbals as they tend to lean a bit and I'm probably gonna spray paint the foam black.
