  • Yet another video...

    Had more time this weekend than I thought I would. So I made a 3rd video this afternoon, once again playing along to a Tommy Igoe Groove Essentials track (#16-fast)

      Very nice - I especially liked your double stroke hihat fill with the syncopated snare beats a bit after half way through. Are you able to zoom the camera back a little for the next clip - it sounds like you have another floor tom behind you that would be good to see.

        Thanks. I'm not sure what other camera angles I could get because the room is really small and I've currently got the camera as high up on the tripod as it will go, positioned in the doorway. I'll play around with other angles/positions and see what I can come up with.

          you suck... Not playing wise cause you are better than me by far, but because your kit is working and i'm waiting on some parts.. makes me anxious.

          Keep up the good work. Any plans to add any more drums? or is your kit finished.

            Hehe...thanks. I probably will keep it as-is for a while. I was lucky to get this money spent without major trouble at home. Not gonna be able to spend any more on drum stuff for a while, I think.

                    Good groovin' Baker. Tasty. I liked the non-linear stuff around the middle. I've been working on some non-linear gospel stuff, so this kinda fits with that somewhat. Keep the vids comin'
