Just tried a diy splitter, followed jmans diagram ...
2 x mono female jacks to stereo male jack (TRS) resistor across Tip and Ring on male jack.
Wired sleeves from female jacks to sleeve on male stereo jack
Wired Tip from Male stereo jack to female jack (marked as tip)
Wired Ring from stereo jack to other female jack
Plugged in to aux that's normally china (also plugged in cowbell) and only getting one trigger working, swapped wires but only one works every time (either one or the other) (leads are fine) metered through all wires and they all line up ok.
Any ideas?
Afterwards tried a regular headphone splitter, wanting china and cowbell to work off one aux and i got china on edge of china cowbell on cowbell and cowbell on bow of china? would that be ok for now?
Also does that resistor have a great bearing? (tried turnng it around and no diff)
Many thanks from Dave
ps am i missing something? do i have to set it in the module?
