I cant believe what I have landed on here, I had no idea you could make your own e-drum shells with all the excellent posts and helpful tips I cant wait to try my hand and see what I come up with.

I was going to buy a 3 pad Simmons system but I am itching to convert some Roto toms or an 8 & 10 set, making my shopping list now.

I am sure I will need help from all of you while I cut my e-drum teeth.

    Wish me luck

        Make a bet? lol

Actually, my days of smoking green stuff are long gone. These days, I prefer to have my faculties together
I'm not immune to the odd disco bikkie if I am out partying though

            Sounds great to me
That's something I can relate to fondly. Spiritual awareness is a true gift and something I love to pass on to others through my music to help awaken them too

Disco bikkie ! I've never heard that one before, very funny.

I like a nice glass of red myself, or a cold beer...

Beer... tell me about it . Yesterday after rehearsal I had a Stella, just a normal pint - which I'm told is well known in Australia/New Zealand. Oh, and in UK too I believe, some month's ago I've seen something on the news that it's known in UK as a woman-beater or something. Something that if you drink to much Stella, you'll hit your wife... So stupid! And not true, I don't need beer to hit a woman (Oops, did I say that out loud?!) Just kidding though.

For some reason when I go to a bar the last months, I don't drink pints as much anymore as I used too... these days I go for heavier bears also, like Leffe... Preferably a dark one. Don't know why, but hey, I like them
