  • Roto Snare

I've finally come to the last step in making my DIY Rototom kit... 12", 14", 16" & 18" toms, 10" snare, 8" kick... all Rototoms, all mounted to a Gibraltar V-Rack. I'm still using my A-cymbals until I can afford to switch over, but one step at a time!

Now, my question is, does anyone have any ideas how I can mount a rim piezo on my Roto snare? Without a shell I'm not quite sure how to go about this to get proper response.

BTW, I'll post pics this weekend. Thanks...

That's good to hear...I assumed the top and bottom dimensions would work but had no way to test them myself. Hope you get that snare dialed in.
