If you could get it in the right size and it looks like they have wide range there. Some 200 mm would make some nice 8'' drums. You would have to do a good job of the trigger though as you would see everything inside the drum...

I'm currently building a new set of octobans with this stuff... I contacted the guy and ordered 8 tubes, all pre-cut to the correct lengths.

I built my blue acrylic lectrobans from 6" acrylic tube. As mentioned above, if you plan on using stock heads the O.D. matters. And cutting or drilling acrylic is touchy.... the right tools and skill is required.I could tell you where to stick that piezo! ;)

Hey J... not to make anyone over-confident, but I've not managed to break, crack or scratch anything yet.... built 4 of 'em so far... need to work out how to mount 'em yet... PS You seen the drumcam yet J?The Stealth V-Monster - www.vdrums.co.uk

Seriously though.... If you can get them precut, that is a good way to go.... Drilling is easier than cuttin though IMO ... I invested in a couple special Plastic/Acrylic drill bits and that makes it a piece of cake.
Yup, I visited the site when you posted about it.... pretty nice panorama.... I got to see your washer and dryer again too, I can't let the little lady see that though she'll want me to buy a nicer set ....Last edited by JmanWord; 05-30-08, 08:25 PM.I could tell you where to stick that piezo! ;)
