I was browsing for cheep drum stuff and found this. It looks pretty cool for a started and i'm sure some upgrades would work nicely on it.

It would be interesting to know what the guts are like. You may need to rebuild the triggering mechanism, but my guess is it would be cheap enough to ply with.

It is hard to tell, but the pads look suspiciously like the ones that come with an Alesis DM-5 Kit.

I tried to contact the manufacturer ... 4 months ago ... I have a close-up photo (somewhere), the sensors are not in the center of the toms (if I rememer correctly) ... they also advertised a td-6 module as an option .. I've seen another similar model that had a different rack

ah and I'm still waiting on an answer to my enquery from the manufacturer!

I'm not saying you won't get a response from them, but these type of companies are looking to do business with wholesale distributors (or very large chain stores), not the end consumer. I doubt they would answer back to a single person unless they think you are a wholesaler.

Anybody want to buy 500 or maybe a 1000 units.

I know that, but they don't know who I am. And they don''t even take a look at their own web site forum wich is a mess:
