  • Roland Kd85 broken bracket

    Hello guys.
    I had an accident before. I found broken the bracket from my kd85. Any solution??

        It's a cast iron. Can it weld without problems later?

            better pic.. i don't know how that support is mounted to kick but i suppose bolted ..
            that stuff is difficult to weld (or ask in a good m.i.g. weld shop)
            what you can do.. (cheap way) to still use it.. is buy another rack tube.. and 2 clamps, and put another cross
            tube on the front, but lowered to where your kick can get supported by it.. either 'use' the broken clamp (shaky)
            or use a pearl ISS 8" tom mount/ arm on top kick, for 'real' support..
            there might also be a way to drill out the latch bolt and replace the broken part with some same size rack clamp
            ..if you have some laying around..
