  • Canadian source for rubber rim silencers?

    Hiya
Would any of the fine Canucks here happen to know a Canadian source for rubber rim silencers?
$40 (Can) just seems like a lot to me for one 14" silencer if I order from the US.
Or maybe that's the best I can do.
    Thanks!

Go to a car shop and get a length of petrol/carburator cable, then use of a sharp knife to cut it.

I use 1/8 in OD clear tubing from the hardware store. A little tricky to learn to cut straight but use a sharp exactly knife and cut from the inside, blade up, pulling up and away from yourself. Clamp both ends down securely and pull the hosing taught from behind as you go. Takes a little practice but doesnít even need to be completely straight to go on well.

Iíve used rubber rim silencers and found they cut too much sensitivity. Clear irrigation/fuel hose is perfect and barely noticeable. It looks so good seeing the chrome rims.
