  • Wiring diagram of piezo trigger for 1 zone trigger pad?

Very small level of electronic understanding here. I have a diy pad. The ground wire is on the metal part and the positive wire is on the ceramic. It goes into a female 1/4. I only use the "head" part of the TD7 module. No rim triggers. I was told that I should use "TRS cable". So that has a stereo 1/4. I look for the correct way to solder it (and the other 6- 1 zone pads I use). I've made a picture asking which is the best way. I've been doing like #1 but was told it should be balanced. I tried one of the 7 like #2 but now when I touch the pad there's a noise. Thanks, I need to get this figured asap.

1 zone pad - use a mono cable. No need for TRS and it's not "balanced".
*** Never buy a module without MIDI IN ***
