  • Is the MDS-9v rack compatible with a 22-inch bassdrum.

Hey, i want to buy and convert a 22-inch bass drum. I currently own the MDS-9 rack, is this rack compatible with a 22-inch bass drum or do i have to buy a bigger rack?

I have the MDS-9v and between the front vertical tubes there is only about enough clearance for a 20" kick - I'd recommend going up to one of the larger racks, either from Roland or something like PDP or Gibraltar.

Is it possible to somehow expand the rack without buying a new one? replacing the two arms in the middle with larger/steadier ones?
