    I posted this before but couldn't find it the next time I logged on. Not sure what happened.
    Anyway, I've been researching 3-d printers and stumbled on this: http://3dprintingindustry.com/2014/1...t-memory-foam/

    The spools are like $24.
    : 5 piece dual zone shells, Yamaha cymbals, VH-12 HH
    : Megadrum, Windows 10 (64bit), Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd Gen, SD2.3, Reaper

    Interesting...I wonder if the finished product would be suitable for our cones.

        I don't think memory foam is a good material for trigger cones/columns ...

          Agreed, Quick Recovery foam, not memory foam is best for triggering IMO.
          I could tell you where to stick that piezo! ;)

            I agree. Memory foam probably isn't good. I imagine though you will eventually be able to do other foams such as poron.
