  • Tambourine controller?

Hello. I have searched for a trigger equipped tambourine with no success. Does such a thing exist?
If not, what is the likelyhood of putting a piezo on a standard hand held tambourine, so that it can be shaken for the acoustic sound, and only trigger when hit with the palm?

    Hmmmm, why not?
But, that long wire may cramp one's style a little.

Certainly possible! Set the threshold on the module to only respond to, say, 50% or above so shaking it won't do anything. I've put piezos on a few things (darbuka, cajon...) it's fun! Piezos are only a or $ or two :-)
