  • Coco Bell Nuts project

Today I designed a simple trigger cow bell pad : old coconut stuffed with strong foam cut in circles, the piezo wire in the middle, up to the last layer where it is simply forced against the anti-vibration pad cut to the shape of the pad. Triggers very well. Attached to the arm of a cymbal with a memory bag from the kit.

Today I bought another coconut, cut it differently and solder a splitter on this last available input. As you can see the looks is lesser but the surface is bigger and there's no rim. I couldn't find a second L metal part to consolidate, only a part of the L, if it gets weak I'll see, shouldn't as the triggers are hot and very responsive, so no need to slam these nuts!

I discovered the very interest of sound #855 Caixa on the TD-30, aluminium snare, great on these little percussion pads. It actually looks like percussions so it's a delight to add exotic sounds indeed in the set.

So that's it, waiting for the second snare to be delivered in a few days, and this drum set will be ready to play
