Hi, I'm new to the forum so this is probably a massive noob question. I'm about to embark on my first conversion and I'm looking at modules I an use and doing research before I start. I currently have two kits one is a Gretsch Renown Maple which I've had for 10 years and the other is a Yamaha DTXPressIII. I want to convert a cheap kit I'm in the process of buying to have a better feel and set up so it feels like I'm playing a real drum kit. I was planning on connecting my homemade triggers up to my DTXpressIII module and then running this into my Mac and using Steven Slate Drums to get a better sound. My question is, is this easy to do with my module or would I be better off ditching the Yamaha all together buying a new module to connect through to my Mac, or completely give up the Mac and Slate Drums idea completely? Any thoughts?
