there are 22 inch mesh heads available on ebay for as little as 10 pounds - they are black as they are made from a different material than the white ones but work perfectly

        What different brands are available?

All I can find are Hart, Pintech and Pearl.

I have a 14" Hart Magnum (It's okay, but doesn't trigger as nice as Roland 14") and the reviews I've seen on Pearl and Pintech haven't been great.

I'm not interested in a DIY project.

I had the cheaper mesh heads and changed them to Hart Magnums. Even with reinforcements in place I was concerned having a rip during a gig. The hart is much heavier duty mesh. I now have the lighter weight one as a back up, waiting for me in the gigging trailer, in case of rippage.
