Need Equipment Recomendations

I am getting back into drumming and have a TD-4 on the way.

Need some good recommendations on a base pedal and throne.

I only used single bass drum pedal in past. Would it be worth getting double pedal??

Any recommendations for pedals (single and double). only want to spend 50-100 whether it be new or used.

thrown recommendations? I have a bad back so would like something That will be easy on me.

thanks

Well I'll start with the throne since it IS the most used part of any drum set. (Anytime you sit down to play, you are using your throne, no matter what style or technique you use)

Roc-N-Soc Throne

Roc-N-Soc Backrest

Since you mentioned you had a bad back, I suggest you splurge on your throne so you can play longer and play comfortably. It will benefit you in the long run.

The pedal's are much the same, I consider pedals to be the 2nd most used part of the drum set. I have heard very good things about the DW 7000 series.

DW 7000 Single Pedal

The only way to truly figure out what is for you though is to go to the shop and actually try out these suggestions! Hope this helps!

Anyone else have good recomendations for a good throne for us unlucky drummers with bad backs? Does the thrones with backrests make that big of difference??

I could go to music store and try them, but you really dont know how good one is till you put some real time on one.

thanks

I played with an inexpensive throne for a year...

+1 "...throne since it IS the most used part of any drum set."

And another +1 for the Roc-N-Soc Throne with Backrest!

I had mine for 2 months and it makes ALL the difference for playing sessions over an hour.

I like Pearl Hardware and Roc-N-Soc thrones with backrests.
