64 bit windows and addictive drums

    Hi folks......

I found some smokin deals on Black friday for addictive drums.

    I currently have windows 7 64 bit.......
Reading the AD forums there appear to have been some issues with 64 bit windows 7

Does anyone have this combination working?>

It seems there is no problem as long as you use jbridge or a host capable o running 32 bit vsts in 64 environments (Reaper does that for me with no problem here).

Thanks for the insight. So for no other reason than I hate to buy something then have to go back because I did not buy all i need - I am asking to verify my final shoppping list

I currently have Yammie DTX iv sp v. 2 - and a laptop with more than enough power to process Addictive drums

So my shoping list to Run AD as I understand it is as follows:
    Addictive drums
A sound card - I am currently leaning towards this http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_u...phile2496.html
Since this comes with Ableton - will I still require Reaper?
If I require reaper which version are you using?
    Jbrridge..........
    Any necessary cables

    Is my list complete?

Thoughts please and thanks in advance

I don’t believe that audio card will work with a laptop, I think you will need to get an external card, USB or Firewire.

I use a M-Audio Fast track Ultra. Do a asearch here on this forum for MIDI and Audio Interface and you will find a lot of information even on people and what they have been reporting as latency.

You can get Reaper for 40 bucks.... every time there is an update and you open up the software Reaper will tell you there is a new version to be downloaded. I use the most recent one.
