  • Re-wrapped my Jobeky converted Snare

    Hi Guys,

Just thought I post some photos of a drum I've re-wrapped using a wrap supplied by BUMWRAP (Awesome guys).

Originally my Wife bought me this Premier Iron Maiden snare drum along with a ticket to meet Nicko plus him signing my drum. As I'm TD-12 player I contacted the wonderful Colin & Jane @ Jobeky to get the drum converted and they did an amazing job,

Input stealthy hidden in the vent by Jobeky

I love the drum but after a year I started to think the drum looked cheap and not the image I wanted to have with my gigging band, I gig the TD12 and used to use a Hart Pro snare but this drum is soo much better.

So I started to strip it down.

EKK, the point of no return

The wrap, bubinga fade from BUMWRAP.

Re-assembled after 4 hours of stress and my hair going a little greyer..

As Nicko did originally sign the drum (number 107) I recreated his signature in Vinyl and cut it (I own a small sign shop). I thought it would be rude but to have a little sommat to Nicko on the drum.

Anyways, let me know what you guys think. I can recommend Jobeky & Bumwrap with very high regards, some great people behind these 2 great companies

    Cheers

Thanks, it makes the drum more useful on a professional level. Acoustically it sounds terrible, thankfully Jobeky/Bumwrap and my TD-12 have made this a usable drum on all levels.

      Cheers
