I need some help with deciding what my first drum set should look like. I have been playing drums for almost 2 years during rehearsals and in school and so forth but I've never actually owned a drumset. Since I live in an apartment I have come to the conclusion that i should buy an e-drumset.
Now to the actual question(s)
I will be ordering my drumkit from thomann.de, they have the best prices for swedes. At first i thought that the roland td-4 would make a good choice, costing about 8300 swedish currency, which is almost exactly my budget, but i got recommended another, all mesh drum kit from a brand called "Millenium". http://www.thomann.de/gb/millenium_m...ad_set_pro.htm
The problem is that i can't find any information whatsoever about the company/kit. But judging from pictures and recommendations it feels pretty safe. This kit costs 6000 swedish currency, but it doesn't come with a module. So i thought that the td-4 module would fit perfectly.
Is this a good idea? Should i buy this together with a td-4 module or stick with a normal td-4k set? Or a Dtxpress Iv? Or this mesh kit with an alesis trigger io and software?
Assuming I'd buy this kit and a td-4 module/alesis trigger io, what else do i need to trigger superior drums or addictive drums from my computer? An external soundcard? if so, please recommend me one. I don't tolerate much latency
Thanks in advance
