  • Superior 2 SDX libraries:different HD locations?

    Hi
    I just got Roots Sticks and Roots Brushes/Mallets.
    the dedicated sample hd I have my other SDX libraries is getting full,so I want to install the Roots libraries on a different dedicated Sample drive.
    Can Superior handle having SDX libraries on different drives?
    Do I just install and point Superior to the new libraries on the new drive?
    Are there any issues if I do this?
    Setup
    Mac Hd -->Superior
    Sample hd1 -->SDX's
    Sample hd2 -->SDX's

    thanks

    It shouldn't be an issue as can you redirect etherything via SD2 settings.
    HDD speed should be your only issue

    I am curious myself as they are located with application support...
    i had trouble transfering my presets from laptop to iMAc, though eventually they majically appeared.

    I am about to do something similar on my Macbook having just added an SSD in the primary drive and moved the hdd to an optibay.
    Once i figure and trouble shoot i'll make a legible post.....
